Our riding season is from April 1^st – October 31st. Trails will be closed from Nov 1^st to Mar 31^st. Weather Permitting. All members should respect the closures and stay off the trails.  Cancellations or Raindates will be posted by noon the day before the event.

  

The Ausable River Riders Club hold monthly meetings. They will be held in Arkona Seniors Center right next to the Fire Hall every second Tuesday of the month. All members are welcome to attend. General public with any questions or concerns may also attend. Meetings begin at 7:00 pm and normally end by 8:00pm. No meeting will be held in December or January. Best to call ahead.

2010 Season update.

Fees remain the same for 2010 but work day fees will be handled different. Post dated cheques will not be used, and the full fee of $175 will include $50 of  work day fees. This $50 can be earned back by attending 2 of the 4 scheduled work days.

May 8 - Parkhill, June 5 - Lot 8, July 17 - Parkhill,  Aug 14 - Lot 8.

Work days start at 8:00 am and lunch is provided. ATV with trailer, Trimmers, Saws, and shovels are good items to bring. Remember to sign in.

NEW    Fathers Day Ride / Kids skill tests,    Sunday June 20,  Parkhill.   Held in conjunction with HRRASarnia.com.  2 wheel motorcycles only, ATV's please ride at Lot 8 this day. Useful suggestions:

1. To help ABCA with enforcement, photocopy your membership sticker, or write it on a piece of paper along with your name and leave it on the dash of your parked vehicle while riding.

2. Don't ride when wet. We can't stress this enough. Over 75% of the revenues are spent on trail maintenance and fill brought in to fill holes.
