Once insured, membership in
Ausable River Riders Club costs $150 per season if
purchased before the last “work day”, after that the
fee is raised to $175. Two post dated cheques are
required for $30 each which will be cashed if the
member does not attend the scheduled work days.
These days are designed to bring everyone out to
help maintain the trail system. Normally the day
involves cutting brush, filling ruts, removing
debris, etc. A typical work day is from 8am to noon
and ending with a BBQ and a fun ride in the
afternoon. The dates these days are to be held will
be posted on this site. It is the member’s
responsibility to keep current on all relevant dates
by looking at the post boards at the trails or this
web site. If you are sure you cannot attend either
event you can add $50 to your membership fee and be
exempt from taking part. Family passes are available
for a cost of $50.00 per additional bike/ATV. Family
members include; Spouse, children, grandchildren or
anyone living at the same address.
Day passes are available to
those who want to “try before you buy”. Cost is $20
for a day or $30 for a weekend. One can choose to
buy unlimited day passes throughout the season. Any
money spent on a pass may go toward a full
membership.
